Madelyn Mead
My idea of celebrating my first child's birth was to brew a mead for a girl, or a barleywine for a boy. She turned out to be a beautiful baby girl, so a bottle of Madelyn Mead will be opened each year on her birthday for the next 22 years. After that, I will save the final bottle for her wedding day.
Each year, the general design stays the same, but the picture will be of her from the year before. The back label has stats and stories from the previous year. I plan on saving and displaying all of the empties.
